On route to Cappadocia, we stopped by the surprisingly bustling city of Sivas. When we arrived at about 3pm the traffic was hectic and it was incredibly difficult to find a car park. Luckily, the obliging staff at the Behrampasa Otel & Cafe, at which we were staying, were happy to park it for us. The Behrampasa is a fascinating place to stay with previous histories as a caravan hostel, a Hamami and a Jandarmarie. The restaurant is located in the centre of the hotel which can make it a little loud in the evening but nothing too crazy. The breakfast there was simple but tasty. We went to dinner at Has Cigerci which had well-priced and yummy Sivas Kofte and Kebaps which even Archie ate.

Beer and wine can be hard to get in Sivas as well so come prepared if you want a drink during or after dinner.
