Sunrise at Angkor Wat is a must-do, even for youngins, and is rated the third-best spot to watch a sunrise in the world. Once you’ve been expertly guided by the all-knowing, Vanra, head to Ta Prom and one of the many other inspiring temples in this region.

  • Eat.

Before heading to Maybe Later for some AMAZING Mexican food, ask Vanra to take you for traditional Khmer BBQ chicken. It’s cheap as chips, delicious, and supports local trade.

If you’re staying in Siem Reap for a couple of nights or more, check out WILD for their spring rolls and cocktails (I love the Alice in Wonderland!).

  • Play.

Nearby to Angkor Wat, you can enjoy a mini-air balloon. Although it doesn’t really float around, for 20$, it shows Siem Reap from a new perspective.

Phare Circus is great evening entertainment for the whole family that tells Cambodian stories in a new light for under 20$ per person. Enjoy the unique food hall beforehand for some cheap and delicious eats.
