Stay.
Our young family enjoyed staying at Kep Bay Hotel and Resort for its “cheap and cheerfulness”. It was conveniently located to the main beach and our room was spacious.
We enjoyed drinks by the pool and the kids loved the pool slide.

Play.
Kep Beach is a “chill” beach but it can get hot. We recommend hiring a table and umbrella for 5$. Nearby, you’ll find green mango and chilli mix for less than 1$ - get into it!
A newly added inflatable challenge has just popped up - it’s fun but also pretty difficult to complete.
Eat.
We spend most of our time eating at Holy Crab. It costs a little more than some nearby places but the service is brilliant and the crab… (speechless)!
If you happen to get tired of crab (unlikely, but anyway…), Italian Corner is a nice walk up the hill and has delicious pasta.
Kampot.
Stay.
For a low-fuss, disconnected true break-away, check out Sabay Beach Hotel. As a family, we loved the bunk bed, the food, and the space to play in the sand.
Access to the water is by boat or kayak or paddle-board so be prepared for a no-swim break.
