Northern Cyprus has a complex history but that shouldn’t stop you from going to visit these beautiful people. We stayed at Acapulco Resort which boasts, albeit simple digs, water slides like you’re at a water park, a mini-fairground, Kid’s Club, a Games Room, etc.

We stayed in a bungalow room which was surrounded by beautiful flowers and managed to fit the 5 of us… just!

On our final night in Kyrenia, we ditched the ‘all-inclusive’-ness, for a proper “menu” meal. Naturally, we went to Niazi’s in town and it was delicious. We ordered the ‘full kebab’ and thoroughly enjoyed it!

When you’re staying at Acapulco, there’s not much need to find more to do. However, we ventured out one day for a boat trip that went past Kyrenia Castle and allowed us to snorkel in the beautiful warm water. The boast even provided lunch and had a slide into the sea!
